    Using the whole space

    Fitted wardrobes run floor to ceiling and wall to wall: no gap on top for dust, no wasted space at the sides. Alcoves and awkward corners are where they earn their keep.

    Fitting to the walls

    Walls and ceilings are rarely straight. The side panels and fillers are scribed, cut to follow the wall, so the wardrobe looks built in rather than pushed in.

    Inside

    Hanging rails, shelves and drawers are laid out around what you keep: long coats, shirts, shoes, bedding.

  4. 04

    Doors

    Hinged or sliding. Sliding doors suit a tight bedroom where hinged doors would hit the bed.
